Breakfast is the single most important meal as it energizes you for the rest of the day. Here’s a quick and easy rolled oats recipe that not only is high in nutritional value, but is also quite tasty for the whole family.
2 Servings
1 cup of rolled oats
2 cups of water
Freshly cut strawberries
Brown sugar
Total preparation time: 10-15 minutes
Bring the water to a boil and pour in the rolled oats. Allow the rolled oats to cook in the boiled water for 7-10 minutes or until water is absorbed. The rolled oats should cook to a syrup-like viscosity. Pour the oats into a bowl and sprinkle however much brown sugar as needed. Mix in strawberries and voilà! Enjoy your breakfast!
Feel free to add other fruits such as blueberries, bananas, or apples into the oatmeal.
